Acceptance at the (Karl Johan’s) Gate

Most of my time in Oslo was spent traversing Karl Johan’s Gate, which is essentially Main Street in Oslo and one day while grabbing a cup of coffee and a chance to catch up on my reading I looked up and noticed something. Acceptance. The entire street was full of people from every walk of life and they all had smiles on their faces.

The entire time I was in Norway I rarely saw an unhappy face. Then again, Norwegians seem to only have one facial expression unless they are really irked by something. However, the people of Norway are wonderful as a whole.

Of all of the countries that I have been to Norway is definitely one that I am strongly considering moving to if things get really screwy here in the states come election day.

I mean, they’d take me, right?
